Tire Maintenance

How you drive, road conditions, the weather…all these and other factors will influence how your tires wear. They can last longer if rotated regularly.

  • To help ensure your tires wear evenly and last longer, rotate them as indicated by the vehicle and/or tire manufacturer.
  • Tire rotation usually involves moving tires front to back and left to right on the diagonal.

The tire pressure information is NOT found in the Owner’s Guide, as the government requires this information to be permanently affixed to the vehicle. The tire pressure is required to be set to the decal pressure before delivery to the customer.

See your Ford or Lincoln Mercury Dealership for tire rotation.

  • Since tire rotation involves removing more than one tire at a time, the easy and safe way to rotate your tires is having the Genuine Service technicians at a Ford or Lincoln Mercury Dealership do it for you
  • If you’re interested in new tires, contact the Service Advisor at a Ford or Lincoln Mercury Dealership near you.
