1.What do I need to rent a car?
∙ Your vehicle must be at Village Ford for service
∙ A Valid Driver’s License
∙ Current proof of insurance
∙ A major credit card
2.What payment methods do you accept?
∙ VISA, MC, AMEX, Discover
∙Cash, personal check
3.What if my car needs to be towed?
∙ If under 3/36 call Ford Roadside Assistance
∙ If beyond 3/36, call Champagne Towing at 313-299-1960.
4.What are your hours of operation?
∙ M-F 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
∙ Sat 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
5.Do you provide shuttle service?
∙Yes – 1st shuttle of the days leaves at 7:45 am.
6.What kind of warranty do you provide on your repairs?
∙12 months/12,000 miles whichever comes first
7.Where are you located?
∙ We are conveniently located in Dearborn, East of Telegraph, 23535 Michigan Avenue, just before Outer Drive.
8.Do you repair all makes and models?
∙Yes, any Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury vehicle in or out of 3/36 warranty, and all other vehicles makes, outside of the manufacturer’s warranty.
9.Do you replace/repair glass?
∙ Yes, Village Ford can assist you with glass replacement or repair.
10.Am I entitled to a rental car while my vehicle is in for repairs?
∙ Yes, if a warranty contract is purchased with vehicle. All others must see a Service Advisor for special rental rates for our customers.
11.Is an appointment necessary?
∙ Yes – your appointment time is set up for you to sit down with your Service Advisor to go over vehicle concerns.
12.Can I drop my car off after hours?
∙ Yes – we provide easy night drop forms inside the double doors at the Service Department entrance.
13.Do you sell tires, brakes, batteries, wipers?
∙ Yes, we stock a complete line of parts to keep your vehicle in factory condition.
14.How can I check on the status of my vehicle repairs? Is there an easy way for me to check on the status of my vehicle repairs?
∙ Yes – an email will be sent to you if you provide your email address, or you can dial and enter your repair order to receive an up-to-the minute repair status of your vehicle. Text messages can also be sent to you upon your prior approval.
